From groves in the South to mountaintop cooperatives, TOON brings you the magic of the region, one batch at a time. We’re not trying to do everything, just the really good stuff. WHO WE ARE
We’re Christina and Omar—partners in life and in TOON. Based in Toronto, Christina is originally from Ainebel, South of Lebanon, Omar is from Deir Ghassaneh in Palestine, and our roots run deep in the Levant. We’ve always believed our region produces some of the best in the world—flavors, traditions, and stories that deserve a spotlight.
We grew up in villages where olives were everything—harvested each fall, shared with family, and rooted in every meal. TOON was born from those memories.
TOON was created in 2024, during a time of hardship for our homelands. Amid political pain and heartbreak, we decided to build something rooted in pride and joy—a love letter to where we come from. It started with olive oil from Lebanon, but our dream stretches far: across the Levant, to Palestine and Jordan, and one day, to our own harvests.
This brand is more than just food. It’s a piece of home. It’s the farmers, the family stories, the late-night brainstorms and the small wins that brought our products from the hills of the Levant to your table in Canada. We’re so proud to share it with you.

Olive Zeyt, Tanbourit, South Lebanon
Tanbourit is nestled in the hills of South Lebanon, sitting quietly above sea level and overlooking the ancient port city of Sidon. Facing the Mediterranean Sea—once a major route where Phoenicians traded olives and oil—this small, beautiful village is the source of our 2024 harvest. It’s home to the Hage family, who have tended their groves for generations. Their olives were handpicked early in the season and pressed within hours, producing the vibrant, golden oil that kicked off our very first batch. Every bottle we sell is a celebration of their dedication, tradition, and love for the land.
Fair Trade Lebanon
We’re proud to partner with Fair Trade Lebanon, a social enterprise that connects us with local cooperatives across the country. Thanks to them, we’ve sourced our pomegranate molasses from Fneideq in northern Lebanon, olive oil soap handmade in Hsarat, and stuffed eggplants (makdous) from the village of Qaa. These small-batch, women-led cooperatives have perfected their crafts over decades, and we’re honoured to bring their stories and products to your table.
